    Monsoon Musings! ft. Strandbyme

There is something romantic about monsoons! There’s the wind in my hair, thunder in the skies and petrichor for my nose! I have always been a rain lover. This is one season that brings to life everything from birds, to flowers. And there’s always some garma garam coffee, samosas, and onion pakodas to gulp down. It doesn’t stop there! Monochrome styling can fall flat, so try pairing it with different patterns or textures. So, what do you think of this look? Let me know your thoughts! Until next time, Love, Sowmya.

The main difference between a gingham and plaid prints is that gingham is white plus one color whereas plaid is a mixture of colors. Also, the gingham lines are the same size, but plaid has different sizes. The runway shows have been full of this print, and you can wear it probably anywhere. I spotted a two layered ruffle skirt on Pinterest and decided instantly to get it stitched! The red and white gingham is chic and makes you cheerful when you look at it. It is a good change from florals as the gingham…
