    Festive Bloom ft. NICOBAR

Hello there! If you follow my posts on Instagram then you might have known that I attended a new store opening last weekend – NICOBAR. Keeping the tropical mindset all year round, they create a collection which is breezy with modern silhouettes. Not only into clothing but also travel and home, their every product is finely crafted and paid attention to. China’s cityscapes inspire the festive collection at NICOBAR.  When the store in charge walked me through the collection, I instantly picked up an ivory chanderi dress with gold bloom motifs and paired it with an airy black overlay. I fell in love with Nicobar’s festive collection, and they have a variety…

    #SoMyWeddingStyles- AM Reception

Last post of the wedding series! I pre-ordered this dress from LABEL ARIA if you guys remember I collaborated with the brand (check out here) and I instantly fell in love with her pastel collection. I had my eyes on this lavender outfit the moment I saw it, and I got the crop top customised to my liking. I chose this outfit for the reception because a wacky or experimental outfit would grab unnecessary eyeballs.   And it’s a wrap! Photographer: Kaushik Kadha

    #SoMyWeddingStyles- AM WEDDING

Are you that girl who is as excited as your BFF because she is getting married? Well, I am definitely! Helping her with all the wedding prep, shopping together and fretting over small details is what we did for the past few months. And now, it has come to an end. She is happily married Come what may the attire had to be traditional for the wedding according to Megha, and we obliged. No points for guessing what colors I chose for the wedding day. I cannot help it! Had to be pink and black. And it was a safer bet because a bride cannot drape a black saree on her…

    #SoMyWeddingStyles- AM Mehendi

I don’t have a wardrobe full of couture outfits(well, I secretly wish for one) but I make due with the budget I have. My beautiful bride wanted all her dear ones to follow a color code for the event- which was Orange. And for the Mehendi event, I chose to wear a stitched draped skirt with off shoulder crop top. Heavy work or embroidery lehengas are not my thang! Simple and comfortable is the key for me. Well, I couldn’t put the maangtika properly so I dealt with the crisis by pinning it to my skirt 😉 and completed the look with jhumkas. The outfit is tailor made by RUMOUR…

    #SoMyWeddingStyles – Abhi+Megha (AM) Sangeet!

My best friend is getting married!!! Since the time I was informed about her wedding, I had a list of outfits planned like the designer wear, or custom made by yourself or use your old clothes and mix & match. I have a secret Pinterest board dedicated for the upcoming wedding occasions ;). Well, I can’t spend 25,000 INR only on one outfit! That’s not me. So, I decided to buy materials for all the ceremonies and get them tailormade which was pretty much in my budget, phew. I chose straight pants and a box pleat tunic outfit for Sangeet because of the apparent reason that I’ll be dancing all…
