If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that I attended the happiest music festival!!! I got an invitation to cover the festival and explore some fantastic music and fashion trends. Well, I was a newbie at the music festival, the venue had three stages and 30 performances to choose from and the schedule helped us to know when our favorite bands were playing and at which stage.
I decided to wear a black bodycon dress and denim jacket with silver jhumkas. This was the first time where I adorned a figure hugging dress and why not? If you have it, you flaunt it right? Well, yeah this dress can be your best friend or a worst nightmare so dress according to your body type. For me, it had to be in black color to create an effortlessly chic and lean look. The venue was huge and as I expected a lot of walking at the festival that’s why I chose to wear comfortable sneakers which made my dancing easy!
They were few cute stalls to shop from where I came across a stall named; Dark Reflections which displayed a variety of dream catchers(I louve!). They even presented sketches of schizophrenia patient which was commendable. Up next was a stall called; Aha Stuff who had notebooks with conceptual tributes which I found unique. You can shop online at ahastuff.com
Around the boundary of the festival, there was some brilliant artwork done by some 30 odd people from NH-7 Periphery Art Project.
One of my favorites from day 1 had to be “The Ganesh Talkies” from Kolkata because of their crazy dressing! They wore matching hospital clothes for their gig. And I totally loved the way; Suyasha Sengupta sang she hooked the audience with her amazing voice and dhik-chik music!
Look who I bumped into *heart emoji*
Parikrama and Indian Ocean made our throats sore! When Rahul Ram sang Bandhe, the crowd including me had goosebumps! And Parikrama wasn’t any less with their rock and roll. Two different genres but one motive to spread the love with their music!
There were other bands who performed equally well, but Nucleya was the icing on the cake! F**k that sh*t” was being enthusiastically chanted by all of us. No, we weren’t drunken rogues, it is a famous song by Nucleya which sets the mood right! And I ended up buying Nucleya batches out of sheer excitement!
And I could enjoy because of my bae; Meghalika!
Will be uploading day 2 outfit soon!
