Bura na mano holi hai!!!
Holi is the most memorable and favorite festival I can think of for the simple reason the fun, the energy, and the spirit it brings to the people.
I still remember when I was a kid in Mumbai; I used to be so enthusiastic about celebrating holi. Filling the water balloons a week before the date and bursting it on the neighboring apartment’s kids. It used to be like a world war! smearing colours on the enemy clan (yeah! We used to call them that) at any given opportunity 😀 . And when the day arrived we forget everything and good triumphs over the evil. It was all about running to each other’s houses and gorging on holi delicacies.
Sad reality we all have grown up and fewer people celebrate it. But today travel back to your childhood and celebrate it in a free spirit.
Me and my best friend MEGHALIKA are such human beings! We are crazy! Free spirited! And we don’t regret spoiling our whites for this festival. Here are some pictures 🙂
I read this somewhere; Holi is a festival of colours. Just like in nature there are different colours associated with our feelings and emotions. Each person is a fountain of colours which keep changing. Your emotions and desires burn you like fire. But when they are a fountain of colours, they add charm to your life.
Happy holi!
love,
Sowmya

Hey could you do a post on long kurtis with shorts? May be turning it into a casual wear. I live here in the US and I really miss my kurtis and I’m constantly trying to find new ways to wear them and not look awkward. :/
