Hello.
In my previous post, you might have seen the Pantone Spring Color “flame.” If not here is the link, do check it out. Okay, so coming to today’s post I have chosen to wear Greenery- the Pantone Color of the year with pink yarrow because this two combination is so spring-summery. Greenery is a mix of yellow+ green which can be paired with a variety of colors, pastels, neutrals, metallics, etc.
‘Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the hope we collectively yearn for amid a complex social and political landscape. satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate, revitalize and unite, greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.’ Said leatrice eiseman, executive director of the pantone color institute.
I decided to go for printed ensemble instead of regular color blocking which I do. Hence, I chose a printed kurta and layered it with a pink yarrow t-shirt and ankle length jeans. I feel this look is easy breezy for a day time outing in spring or summer. Since there are a lot of bright colors, I paired it with nude bag and heels. You can also pair with gladiator flats if heels aren’t your thing. I put on some oxidized and wooden bangles, a pom-pom earring which I got it then at a store in Badi Chowdi and mid rings.
