I am never satisfied by showing my #OOTDs on Instagram. Hence, I have decided to compile my summer lookbook in a detailed series of posts which I’ll be publishing in the coming weeks.
The weather is horribly hot and we can’t get over sipping cool lemonades and iced tea. Well, with a change in the season comes the change in the wardrobe right?
The good people of ‘The Yellow Label‘ sent over this beautiful summer dress. Dresses are my comfort zone, and this turquoise and white dress is ideal for that summer breeze. You can never go wrong with cute floral prints they are a spring-summer staple. The fabric is cotton and the silhouette A-Line, which is chic and breathable also perfect for any occasion! And the dress gets brownie points because it has pockets! Which makes it perfect. Yay!
There is no harm in looking stylish, right? Whether you are headed to a brunch date, or to catch a movie with friends or just chilling at a cafe. And while you’re at it, you don’t want to be fussing around with tight silhouettes and sticky fabrics. It’s fun to dress up when done accordingly to the weather forecast and must be practical since you will be wearing it for sometime during the day.
I have a very few ‘I have nothing to wear’ meltdowns because my style is all about mixing patterns, prints, and essential pieces. Adding more flair to my ensemble is what I like. So, I double layered the dress with a turquoise skirt which I wore underneath to make it look like a new hemline. I completed my daytime summer look with white shoes. It’s an effortless summer lookbook to pull off.
