Hi there!

I have an avid appreciation for any sort of jewellery.  And when Shravani Mittapali contacted me for collaboration on her new jewellery line, I was thrilled to work on it.  She is a graduate from Gemological Institute of America, Mumbai. Her first collection is inclined towards traditional jewellery inspired from south India. Each piece of jewellery from this line is well crafted, minimalistic and beautiful. She used cubic zirconia rubies, emeralds and pearls in her collection.

I created a look with an off-white anarkali; perfect for a morning or an evening wear. You can pair these jhumkas with a traditional silk sarees as well.  My personal favourite is the Gutta Pusalu necklace, which are famous for its uneven shape and mostly used in triplets which would form as a Gutta; a group. And the black thread is a self adopted style used here in contrast with the necklace just to enhance them even more.

These earrings are known as Makara Kundala. Kundala just means earrings and Makara means Capricorn, a sea dragon which is a blend of crocodile and dolphin.
