Gujarati and Rajasthani outfits are widely decorated and vibrant with different forms of tie and dye, applique work. Amidst all the historical heritage of the state, an applique work called the gota Patti is noteworthy. To be precise, the city Jaipur is now the hub where most of the gota Patti work is done.
Just because it is dandiya night, you don’t have to wear a lehenga all the time and be predictable. Go a step further and raid your wardrobe and come up with a personal style which will help you to stand out in the crowd. I am all about comfortable clothing at any time of the day. Hence I decided to wear a gota Patti blouse like an off shoulder over my maxi dress and keeping in mind the occasion I chose to wear warm colours.
I tied my hair into a neat bun and accessorised with Rajasthani maang tika called as ‘Borla’ which is spherical with studded kundans and to add more pop of colour I decided to put on some blue coloured bangles to finish the look.
