The pomp and grandeur of Navratri are just a few days away. And, I am here yet again to show you how to dress up for dandiya and garba nights within the budget. Do check out my previous posts on Navratri outfit ideas here
I was most excited about this outfit would turn out to be, and I am very delighted with it. Most of my outfits which I post here are about mix and match, being on a budget, and repeating the basic pieces. Here, I did a little D.I.Y with my white shirt. I cut the sleeves and the front part of my old blouse (which doesn’t fit me anymore) and glued it to the white shirt with fabric glue and VOILA! I have a brand new top to pair with my skirt/ lehenga.
This outfit has everything, a hint of color here and there, and yet subtle. Perfect for Navratri or Diwali. I paired it with an off white skirt with gold foil print. This skirt has been with me for more than five years now, and I absolutely love it! You can dress up and down, mix and match according to the occasion. If you have a lovely skirt or lehenga lying around, then you’re all set for the night because they are numerous ways to style a skirt, for example, today’s post. Moreover, you will not feel out of place if you’re the shy kind. It is perfect for the occasion.
When it comes to Navratri, silver and black metal jewelry are considered to be symbolic. But, I chose to wear gota Patti earrings for this outfit as it also traditionally worn in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
So, gear up for the festival ladies, and I hope my blog posts help you a bit.
A special shoutout to my parents for always helping me! 🙂
Until next time,
xo
