My Birthday Outfit

Hope you people are doing well.

I turned a year older on 1^st September.  Well this year has been overwhelming so far and I am really thankful for it. It’s been 9 months since I started blogging and the response has been great! Blogging is super fun; it’s like a scrapbook of my life. People will judge you no matter what.So, I just DO MY THAANG! And Shout out to all my followers out there! I love you guys! It feels amazing when all of you send me messages on how to style an outfit or just appreciate my work. It means a lot to me. It motivates me and helps me work harder and create worthy posts for you. And please accept my apologies if I am unable to respond to all of your messages. However, keep the messages pouring in! 😉

Okay enough of the senti; let’s look at my birthday outfit and the most precious thing in my life right now. You will come to know at the end of the post. So, I wasn’t looking for anything in particular this year. I was hopping from one store to another like we all do until we find “the dress”. I stopped at Splash Store and initially picked up a denim dungaree; which I haven’t worn before but somehow it didn’t give “this is it” feel. So I kept on scanning the store and found this black pencil skirt with pearl embellishments and I immediately felt this is it! This is my dress! I have never tried a pencil skirt before and I am glad that I chose to wear it on my birthday. And the top had to be in any shade of pink. Well black and pink are a must for me and I realized that even last year my outfit was in pink and black! Not that I am complaining. I chose this ruffled polyester top for my pencil skirt and paired it with white heels and clutch to balance the colours.

 

And Everyone please welcome OLIVER! My golden child! This year I have been gifted the most precious thing ever! *heart eyes*.  It couldn’t get better than this.  If you guys check my instagram, you will probably see his pictures and videos. And mind you, I will upload lots of them from now on! 😀 And to answer the most common question, why did you name him Oliver? I did so because I love ARROW series and the hero’s name is Oliver. Well my golden child is nothing less than a hero!
